Compounding

Bloomington Drug has been compounding for decades. Compounding is the art of customizing medications for each individual patient. From bio-identical hormones to flavoring the family pet's medication, we will do our best to meet every need. Compounded prescriptions are unique formulations for certain medications that require different strengths or different delivery routes.

Bio-identical hormones:

Hormone replacement is typically used for women going through menopause. Bio-identical hormones are derived from plant based resources that match the natural occurring hormones in the body. Dental:

We provide compounded dental gels in a variety of flavors and strengths for both children and adults.

Veterinary:

We provide a variety of compounded medications for your family pet.  Medications are provided in a variety of non-commercially available strengths and dosage forms.
